“I cheer for Italy”
Being Italian, we were very proud of taking part in this project! Soda was the studio selected to produce the video intended to represent the Italian nomination to organize 2014 Basketball World Championship. Since the beginning we were deeply involved in the plan, because we were not just dealing with a simple task: we all were hoping that the 2014 Basketball WC would be played in Italy.
We thought the best way to show Italy was shooting the “real nature of Italy”, with our characteristics places, virtues and vices. So we went around Italian towns shooting people playing on basketball street courts, taking interviews to every day people by asking them why Italy should be suitable for organizing a Basketball World Championship.
