Zu - Spiritual Healing
Zu is an Italian electro new jazz band that produced sizeable discography of 14 albums in less than 10 years, working in partnership with many famous artist such as Mike Patton.
They proposed us to conceive a video of the "Spiritual healing" track in partnership, because at that time the band interests were closed to alchemy history and they want to realize something about it.
So we projected a motion graphics video that aimed to symbolize the spiritual healing pursuit through material elements. The video tries to compare the old way of life to the present one, by reaching the final conclusion that are still both similar, even if many years are gone-by.
These concepts were developed by using a series of allegorical elements taken from different inspiration sources: the original Medieval and Reinaissance engravings, the Masonry and the Marseillais tarots.
The videoclip was written and directed in partnership with Davide Catraro and Marvin Milanese.
